I wanted to thank you for all you've done so far in updating our furnishing pages! You're doing a fantastic job with those furnishing summaries. Keep up the great work! MolagBallet (talk) 18:34, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Moving ImagesEdit

Good evening! If you upload an image with the wrong name, it would be easier to move it to the correct name instead of uploading a new version of the same image. You should be able to see the "move" tab at the top of any given page, near "edit". -MolagBallet (talk) 02:11, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Thank you!! I have actually never really 'seen' that tab o.O I will learn all about it now ;) Hugs! Erorah (talk) 03:04, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
You're most welcome! -MolagBallet (talk) 18:29, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Furnishing vendorsEdit

Hi, for File:ON-item-furnishing-Winter Cardinal Painting, In Progress.jpg the furnishing item cannot actually be purchased from a vendor. It's 100 writ vouchers for the recipe, not the furnishing. —Legoless (talk) 09:52, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

  • Thank you Legoless, indeed. What I was trying to show actually was that all these furnishing recipes come from somewhere - I think I should get this info on the Recipe page or at least make a note to the effect that the recipes are at suchandsuch.. [btw, you will find a WHOLE BUNCH like this.] Always looking for a better way :) — Unsigned comment by Erorah (talkcontribs) at 14:24 on 8 September 2021

Excellent work on continuing to update the furnishing pages! You're almost singlehandedly documenting it and doing a wonderful job! I especially like the photos for the Chronometer :) Thank you for all your hard work The Rim of the Sky (talk) 23:21, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

OMGoodness! Thank you so much!! Thank you also for your, and all the Admins', hard work. Without it, our Wiki would not be what it is today. YOU are appreciated

Fathomless thanks for keeping up with all that furniture! It's a monumental task, but you've held the line, and your work on furniture templates is much appreciated. Thanks for all you've done! -MolagBallet (talk) 20:16, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
Thank you so much!! It is a HUGE release this spring, due to everything coming out all at once.
Only 177 more pages to create
Super glad to see YOU around as well. HUGS!

Image NumberingEdit

Glad to see you contributing to collections pages! Those are a handful. I also appreciate that you've started shooting the backs of some costumes: I've been meaning to start doing that myself, but I've got my hands full with the fronts/backs/sides of skins and making sure all of the pages I arranged to have set up are consistent, and every time I think about uploading three images of each costume, the fumes begin to wiggle.

I wanted to tell you about image numbering: I noticed a lot of the secondary images you've uploaded (both for furnishings and now costumes) go by a convention where the first of the extra images is marked with "1" (ON-category-thing 1.jpg for instance). This isn't consistent with the way images are numbered in the rest of the namespace. Generally, extra images get marked with "02" and above. So the first extra image is your 02 version (because it's the second image of the same subject), the next would be 03, and so on. Online:Molag Bal is an example of an NPC page gallery with numbering like this (see: ON-skill-Soul Burst 02 through 06), and Online:Astral Sheen is a Collectible page with this convention.

The skin pages are an excellent place to look at examples of how to number extraneous collectible images, especially since costumes use parentheses to indicate the gender of the model in a similar manner.

I am supremely grateful that we've got yet another hand slapping new images into Collections pages, and just wanted to clear things up so they can be consistent going forward!

(I also wanted to give you the opportunity to re-upload File:ON-costume-Sailor-at-Arms (Male).jpg over File:ON-costume-Sailor-at-Arms (male).jpg because the Capital M version is technically named incorrectly, but is of the proper aspect ratio: lowercase m-male and lowercase f-female are consistent with the rest of the Appearances collectibles, and there's a cleanimage tag on the lowercase m version because it's not 1:1.) -MolagBallet (talk) 00:08, 8 May 2023 (UTC)

OOF!! I cannot imagine all the incorrectly numbered images that I have already uploaded!! :(
How might I rectify this first? I might ask RobinHood to use the bot to rename a pile of them? There might be 100 or more.
Erorah (talk) 00:21, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
That could work! I'm also in a mood (no negative connotations in that phrase: it's just a Mood) right now, so I'm perfectly equipped to track down every instance of numbered images lacking a zero up front. I have specialized keybinds and my user settings are equipped to show me over a thousand entries every time I go to view lists like User Contributions. I can be a bit of a bot myself: I enjoy cleanup and data entry tasks that most people would find tedious: if HoodBot doesn't get to it first, I'll be happily clicking away at funny-numbered entries. -MolagBallet (talk) 00:53, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
