And while the Ruby Throne remains elusive, many alternatives are available.
While most thrones are acquired through Achievements and Quests, some may be crafted. Finding Throne furnishing plans may seem somewhat daunting, but they can be found.
Increasing the thieving skills from the Thieves Guild skill line is helpful but not necessary, as there are armor sets available that help increase stealth and detection radius. Stealing plans from Nobles and other Pickpocketable NPCs in Tamriel is difficult, but patience and practice will net some very lucrative items.
