After gaining evidence of Lord Cosh's dealings and witnessing his meeting with Chief Inspector Rhanbiq, you will need to escape and it is entirely possible to encounter him as Lieutenant Brand. However, it is also possible to bypass fighting entirely through use of secret passages and walkways.[verification needed — Is he also Lieutenant Brand?]
Prison BreakEdit
As Private Brand, he can be found in the camp near the Anemone, guarding the Prison Hold Key. You can either sneak by him or kill him to collect the key from its container.
NotesEdit
- Captain Brand is demoted to Sub-Captain after Partners in Crime, before ultimately being demoted to Private during Prison Break.
- If you choose not to return the skull during Partners in Crime, you will be forced to fight (and seemingly kill) Brand, yet he will appear later on.
- You can encounter Sub-Captain Brand as an enemy in the southwestern district of Abah's Landing.
